Prior to being Of Counsel to the Law Offices of Michael P. Joyce, Attorney Mary Garippo represented the Workers’ Compensation Trust Fund of the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents, in matters involving asbestos exposure to injured workers. In her role as Asbestos Litigation Case Manager, she will be combining this experience as well as her experience with civil litigation. In her career, she also served the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in other positions including the Commission Against Discrimination, the House of Representatives and at Suffolk Superior Court. She has argued numerous cases on appeal, including Pillman’s Case, which was named by Massachusetts Lawyer’s Weekly as a Most Important Opinion of the Year. Mary is active in the legal profession as well as the civic life of Boston.
